He seeks revenge. His wife Patricia was a committed believer in the afterlife. Matt, who is a gifted computer scientist and non-believer, has been left incontrovertible evidence through Patricia’s friend, Diane (a practising medium), that she has survived her death. With the help of his wife’s sister Becky, he hi-jacks his own system as a means of temporarily killing himself to find his wife and exact justice in the spiritual realms. This is a story of self-discovery and the redemption that he eventually finds through a reluctant acceptance and then understanding of the afterlife. Along the way he has to be saved from the forces of evil by the gentle spirits of the Inuit’s who inhabit the sacred stones. He is also helped by his rapidly growing son, Daniel and other friends all of whom have been taken against their will to live in the constructed medieval world of the vicious Weedman. This is a world between worlds that can only be destroyed by the sacrifice of one man.The deep and ever present love that he shared with his wife becomes essential to his survival in this Trompe-lœil zone and carries him through this journey and into his future, but that is another story.
